Friends of Cricklewood Library
This building now belongs to All Souls College, Oxford
(Brent Council has returned the property to All Souls College, Oxford, who gave the land to the local people in 1928 for the purpose of building a library.
Following Brent Council’s decision to close the library, despite petitions and campaigns to keep it open, it has reverted to All Souls.)
The Friends have now re-formed the committee and are negotiating with All Souls College, Oxford, and prospective partners, in order to re-open as a community hub/library/cultural centre.
We need more people to help – including people with various relevant professional expertise - and as many potential volunteers as we can get (60 would not be too many!).
Come and see/use the Cricklewood Pop-up Library at Olive Road. Borrow and/or donate books.
Contact Sonja & Sally: friendsofcricklewoodlibrary@gmail.com and find Friends of Cricklewood Library on Facebook!
